How to Get Involved
We're Looking for Volunteers
In order to successfully address the difficult problem of older nonductile concrete buildings, the Coalition is looking for widespread participation from architects, engineers, building officials, planners and building owners, and others with a stake in their safety.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Identify buildings for potential PEER case histories
- Help build the repository of resources, links, documents relating to concrete buildings
- Identify background information in your community--any building inventories, soils maps, other data
- Talk to your local building official about the project and encourage him or her to share data
- Help program and maintain the website with information by jurisdiction
- Talk to colleagues about sharing information on retrofitted buildings
